How we can Help You
We offer a variety of verification marks to demonstrate that your product has third-party approval and that it has been tested to a recognized standard. Each market and each industry have specific requirements and preferences. Use our product and system certifications to demonstrate compliance.
This is Nemko’s own certification mark as established in 1933 as a mandatory mark for electrical products marketed in Norway. Since 1991, it is offered as a voluntary mark and has gained worldwide recognition as a sign of compliance with relevant safety and EMC standards, especially within the IT and office equipment area.
This is the regulatory European product marking allowing access to the EU/EEA member countries (and even some EU candidate countries in Eastern Europe), as dictated by EU Directives and corresponding national regulations. It is required for a wide range of products, including electrical consumer products, medical equipment, and machinery.
This mark is intended for manufacturers who wish to show the market that they have had their product tested or verified in accordance with the EMC Directive by one of the Nemko EMC Laboratories. This mark is meant for manufacturers who wish to show EMS (susceptibility) properties for their product. This mark indicates extraordinary resistibility against electromagnetic phenomena.
The IEC CB Scheme is by far the largest international certification scheme for products. The CB scheme facilitates the acceptance of test reports when applying for national safety certification of electrical products in IECEE member countries. Also, it is today largely used between business partners in international trade for proving basic safety compliance of their electrical/electronic products.
The CCC (China Compulsory Certification) is required for market access in China for many listed products. It was implemented on May 1, 2002, and replaces the earlier mandatory CCEE and CCIB certification. Electrical products covered under CCC certification typically include IT products, telecom equipment, audio/video equipment, household appliances, lighting products, power tools, and medical equipment.
